- Finish the Vietnam War documentary, continuing with part 4.
- Find a documentary on the Korean War. Maybe this. The other documentaries by this channel might also be good.
- Find a documentary on WWII.
- Find a documentary on the American Civil War. Maybe Ken Burns' The Civil War, it was produced by the same person who made the Vietnam War documentary I've been watching. It does make me nervous, because some details from the Vietnam War documentary seemed slightly wrong or unsupported when I looked into them, but I still think it was a really good documentary.
- Find a documentary or a book on China.
- Try to finish reading the NOAB Bible this year.
- Read "Heaven and Hell: A History of the Afterlife". It wish Erhman was a Christian, I would prefer to read about Christianity from an academic perspective and from actual Christians. Dan McClellan is a Mormon, I don't think recognzing that the evidence for some traditional beliefs is somewhat dubious prevents you from having faith. I want to understand better though. I still think the book would be a nice supplement to the Bible.
- Read "Democracy: The God that Failed" along with "New Libertarian Manifesto". I really like Hoppe's writing, but I don't think I've encountered his more controversial ideas yet, and I'm not big on any kind of authoritarianism or forcing cultural conservatism. His writing about medevial times and the nature of the state and democracy is really nice though, regardless of if you agree with the rest of his arguments. Fortunarely SEK3 leans in the opposite direction, and I haven't seen anything I would reject yet, but it feels a bit less refined and leans very heavy on promoting counter-economics.
